| EASTER TREATS
Easter is fast approaching, and we have a few treats
that we will be baking for this holiday such as our delicious Hot
Cross Buns, Butter Bunny Cookies, and of course our delicious fresh
breads and rolls. Our hot cross buns are perfect for Easter brunch!
I can't think of a better combination than Honey Baked Ham slices
on our Honey Whole Wheat or Peasant White rolls! While orders
aren't necessary, we suggest you place an order for Hot Cross Buns,
Bunny Cookies and rolls. We will also be offering our "Roll
Wreaths." These are by order only. Finally, we have expanded our
Easter Sweets lineup. We are offering a couple of special cakes and
cupcakes--see below. As always, we will have a great selection of
our all-natural breads available. Enjoy!
DINNER
ROLLS & WREATHS
We are baking dinner rolls and
wreaths. Rolls and our roll wreaths (approximately 30 rolls)
are available in Honey Wheat and Peasant White. We will bake
rolls for "walk ins," but the wreaths are by order only. If you
would like dinner rolls for Sat., we strongly suggest you place an
order for them. We only need one day's notice for rolls and
wreaths.
EASTER BREADS AND BUNS.
We are introducing this Easter a traditional Eastern European
Easter Bread, which we braid and bake in a ring form. The opening
in the center holds nicely a decorated egg. This bread not only
is delicious, but also makes a beautiful center piece.
TRADITIONAL EASTER BREAD
Of course we will also be baking our delicious Hot Cross Buns--a
holiday tradition. Orders are strongly encouraged.
HOT CROSS BUNS
FOR THOSE WITH A SWEET TOOTH!
Bunny and Egg Cakes. We are
baking several a few, new sweet treats for
Easter:
Cupcakes; Bunny Cakes and Egg Cakes.
The cupcakes and the bunny
cakes are made with a pound cake base and our buttercream icing.
The white bunny is vanilla cake with
butter cream icing covered with coconut.
The
chocolate covered bunny has a chocolate ganache icing. The
decorated egg is for chocolate lovers. It is made with our
ever so rich chocolate cake recipe and is covered with chocolate
ganache icing.
We
strongly suggest that orders be placed for these cakes (very few
"extras" will be baked). Two days' notice is required, so please
order by Thursday for a Saturday pickup (we are closed Sundays)..
BUTTER COOKIES:
We
offer our butter bunny cookies in gift packs of eight.
We are also baking our
Jumbo
Butter Bunny Cookies, which have been a long time favorite.
CUP CAKES
We
are baking a variety of cupcakes with various seasonal decorations.
The icing is 100 percent pure buttercream.
